Brooklyn Tins wallpaper
MERCI | NLXL
Parisian concept store MERCI is renowned for its interior décor of vintage ceiling tins. Their popularity led to the store collaborating with NLXL to design a collection of wallpaper reflecting the unique decoration. Historically, tin ceillings were introduced to North America as an affordable alternative to the exquisite plaster work used in European homes. It was between 1890 and 1930 that thin rolled tin-plates were being mass-produced. Today the irregularity and the aging give all the appeal to this American architecture icon.
Each roll contains 4.4m² of unique tin paper.
