Part of the SCP 2011 Collection. The Coltrane sofa system is a shapely design, generous in size with all the hallmarks of the simple and modest elegance associated with Terence Woodgate’s work. It is made in a sustainable way, with a solid FSC approved beech frame, zig-zag springs and a mixture of rubberised coconut hair, latex, feather pads and wool for the upholstery. The feet are turned ash with a protective pad on the bottom. The Coltrane is a piece that is elevated by the design of the small details. The frame includes a chamfered edge that allows the arms to be upholstered in multiple-layers, increasing comfort and creating a pliant yet support­ive feel when sat or leant on. The Coltrane is a distinguished design, subtle, well-formed and extremely comfortable. Made in the UK.
