Small item online orders
We are pleased to be able to offer delivery of small items ordered online to anywhere in the UK and to the selected European countries listed below. We aim to dispatch all online orders within two working days. Please note that for certain fragile items we may choose to send your order by an independent courier. In these instances, delivery will take 7 – 10 days and we will contact you to advise you of this.

SCP are pleased to be able to ship to customers worldwide, unfortunately this service is not currently available online. If you require a shipment to a country outside of the EU you can email us at email@example.com and we can deal with your request on a one to one basis.
Delivery information small item online orders
As soon as you have placed an order you will receive a confirmation email informing you that we have received your order. Please keep it in a safe place as we may ask you for information from it in any correspondence. If you do not receive this email please contact firstname.lastname@example.org so that we may investigate and confirm that your order has been placed successfully. We aim to despatch all orders within 2 working days of receiving your order. If an item that you have ordered is temporarily out of stock we will get in touch with you to advise you of the earliest possible delivery date. If you are not satisfied with the delivery date we offer we will offer you the option of cancelling the order and refunding your card.
SCP are working with UPS and DPD to deliver all orders placed online. UPS and DPD provide a fully traceable Worldwide delivery service. When an order is dispatched, a customer will receive an email confirmation from SCP followed by email confirmation from UPS and DPD that includes an order tracking code. To view the progress of an order please access the UPS or DPD website and enter the tracking code supplied.
Both UPS and DPD deliver between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday in the UK. EU and International delivery times are made during standard business hours, which vary from country to country. A signature is required to acknowledge receipt of goods.
If no one is available to sign for the goods at the delivery address, UPS or DPD will leave a card at the door and you will also receive an email or text message explaining delivery has been attempted. Simply call the number on the card, quoting the card reference number to re-arrange delivery.
Occasionally, circumstances beyond our control can delay the delivery date. If this happens, we will endeavour to keep you informed. We cannot however accept liability for any loss or inconvenience that may result from the delay.

Delivery information furniture orders
Furniture orders over £1000 are delivered free within the M25. Beyond the M25, charges apply by quotation or will be calculated by our online stores checkout . We can assemble furniture for you, providing this service is requested at the time of ordering. Within the M25, assembly is free for orders over £1,000 and there is a £40 assembly charge for orders under £1,000.
Delivery and assembly charges for orders delivered outside the M25 are available by quotation on request.
Please note that we only assemble furniture we do not install shelving or hang mirrors.
Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that access is possible at the delivery location prior to ordering. SCP offers access checks within the M25 at a charge of £40. If access is adequate and an order is consequently placed this charge will be refunded however if access is found to be not possible the charge is non refundable.
When your product/s are ready for delivery, we will contact you to arrange a suitable day and time. We deliver Tuesday to Saturday, and can advise you whether you have a morning (7am-12pm) or afternoon (12-3pm) slot. Our delivery team will deliver the products to the room of your choice (providing access is suitable) and remove all packaging, allowing you to inspect them to ensure you are satisfied. You will then be asked to sign our Proof of Delivery note, accepting the goods. If someone else is accepting delivery on your behalf, it is very important that they are fully aware of the product details. If you would like us to leave the products packaged, please let us know in advance.
If we have agreed a delivery date and slot, and you are out when we arrive, we can reschedule a delivery for the next available date. There will be a charge for the subsequent delivery, even if the first delivery was free.
Delivery information online furniture orders
We offer delivery of large furniture items direct from our online store to selected UK postcodes. The cost of delivery of large furniture items ordered online to selected UK postcodes will be charged by the volume of the goods you have ordered, this will be calculated at the checkout. If you would like delivery to UK postcodes beginning KW, HS, BT or IM please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for delivery by quotation.
We regret that we are unable to deliver large items of furniture direct from our online store to the selected European countries that we serve by our smaller item delivery. If you require delivery to these areas please email us at email@example.com or your local stockist.
Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that access is possible to, and within the delivery location at point of purchase. If you require any further size information please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org . Please also be aware that we will not deliver online furniture orders beyond the second floor unless appropriate lift access is available, and we will not deliver items ordered online through windows. When ordering large furniture items from our online store you will be required to pay in full at the point of ordering. SCP will then contact you within 1-2 days to confirm whether the item is in stock and available for immediate dispatch. If the item is in stock it will be dispatched to you within 7 days at which point you will be contacted directly by our delivery contractor DHD. Delivery may take up to 2 weeks from dispatch from SCP warehouse.
If the item is not in stock we will contact you via email with an approximate lead time. From the time SCP advise you of the approximate lead time you are entitled to cancel your order within 5 working days for a full refund.
Your lead time will commence on confirmation that you are happy to wait, if we receive no response your lead time will commence 6 days after confirmation from SCP of the lead time. At any point during the lead time please do not hesitate to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for order updates.
When the item is received by SCP warehouse you will be contacted via email by SCP, your order will then be dispatched within 7 days at which point you will be contacted directly by our delivery contractor DHD. Delivery may take up to 2 weeks from dispatch from SCP warehouse.
Furniture lead times
At SCP we keep a large selection of furniture items in stock including Ton, Modernica, Kriptonite, Plank and SCP tables, shelving and chairs. If however you are ordering a bespoke item or if your item is currently out of stock the lead times will vary.
Bespoke Furniture and out of stock items – Will take approximately 6 – 8 weeks excluding Swedese, Horizon, Ercol, Ton, Poltrona Frau, Cappellini, Knoll, Mobles 114 and Martinez Otero which take 10 – 12 weeks.
SCP Upholstery – The standard lead time on SCP upholstery is 6 - 8 weeks however this can vary and in many cases we may be able to deliver ahead of this time.
We will do our best to provide a lead time as accurate as possible when the order is placed. Please be aware that all lead times are approximate, and we cannot accept liability for any loss or inconvenience that may result from any delay.
Returns for small item online orders
In the event that your order arrives damaged, please email email@example.com or call 020 7749 7398 immediately. We will then arrange for a collection of the goods and organise a replacement to be sent out to you at the earliest opportunity.
If your SCP purchase was unsuitable please follow the instructions below:
To receive a refund you must return the goods within 28 days of receipt of delivery. Please note that your original delivery charges will not be refunded.
Goods must be returned with your packing slip and copy of order confirmation email to the address below or to any SCP store.

All goods returned must be in a perfect and saleable condition with the original product packaging and instructions where appropriate.
If the goods do not reach us in a perfect and saleable condition and in their original packaging, then your right to a full refund may be affected.
If returning goods to one of our stores, we can only offer a refund if the original credit/debit card used to make the purchase is present, otherwise we can only offer an exchange. We also require that you bring a copy of the order confirmation email as proof of purchase.
If returning by post, the parcel and its contents are your responsibility until they reach us. The cost of returning the goods is at your expense. This does not affect your statutory rights. We recommend using registered post and retaining the proof of postage as we may require signed proof of delivery. SCP is not responsible for returned goods being lost or damaged in transit.
Returns for furniture orders
We strongly advise you to thoroughly check your goods upon receipt. To protect your interests, any claim concerning short delivery and/or damaged and/or defective goods found on delivery, or concerning damaged or defective goods found at a later date, must be notified as soon as possible by contacting the SCP store you purcased from; either at SCP East firstname.lastname@example.org, 020 7749 7398 or SCP West email@example.com, 020 7229 3612 immediately, or SCP Websales firstname.lastname@example.org , 02077381869.
If you wish to return your furniture order for reasons other than the goods being damaged or faulty you must contact the SCP store you purcased from; either at SCP East email@example.com, 020 7749 7398 or SCP West firstname.lastname@example.org, 020 7229 3612 immediately. You are entitled to cancel this contract no longer than 5 working days after the day on which your order is received. If you wish to cancel this contract once your order has been despatched please note the following procedure will apply:
Should you wish to return a furniture item we will arrange to collect this item from you & will apply an appropriate collection charge.
You will be reimbursed to the card with which you paid for the goods once the goods have been received back into our Warehouse.
Please note that your original delivery charges will not be refunded. A refund of the delivery charge will only be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 30% of the original selling price from the refund amount.
The goods must arrive back with us in a fully resalable condition with original product packaging and instructions where appropriate.
Please note that your right to return products does NOT apply to products that fall into the following categories unless they are faulty:
