Chocolate de Oaxaca drinking chocolate - Almond

Mexico

Drinking chocolate is a prime player in the culture of Oaxaca, Mexico. It is traditionally prepared in clay jugs and whisked with a wooden Molino until it’s foamy and fragrant. Chocolate de Oaxaca contain flat cylinders of chocolate blended with cacao, sugar, ground almonds, cinnamon and vanilla. Melt the chocolate in hot milk or water, store and enjoy. Contains nuts.

The Oaxaca collection is made up of contemporary craft and accessories from the southwestern region of Mexico. Earlier in 2016, SCP founder Sheridan Coakley took a trip to the region, where he found a vibrant community of makers whose work is a wonderful fusion of influences. This collection is an idiosyncratic edit of homeware, textiles and decorative objects.
