Designed in 1998 by Michael Marriott.
Missed is a piece for those at leisure in the day. It is made using a solid beech timber frame with a jute webbed seat platform, upholstered in reconditioned foam, layers of rubberised hair, needled wool and an inter-liner. The rectangular head cushion is hand-made and feather filled. It is attached to the bed by a leather strap with a velcro pad, which can be adjusted for position on the underside. The cylindrical legs are in polished steel. Uncomplicated, coherent and in part homage to the daybed by Mies van der Rohe, Missed is a kind of modesty, made modern. Made in Norfolk, UK.
Made to order in Norfolk, England.
