Product Information

Description
The Babela chair was originally designed in 1958 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for the Milan Chamber of Commerce. It is lightweight, easy to move and lift, and rigorously built to withstand everyday use in offices, restaurants and public spaces.

In this reissue by Tacchini, the original iron frame has been swapped for a warmer, more natural ash wood one, which is available in grey finish. To order this product in a different finish, please contact us.

Materials
Internal frame: birch plywood 15 mm. Padding: differentiated - density polyurethane foam. Base: open-pore lacquered ash wood. Upholstery: fully removable cover.
