The starting point for making the Tonone Bolt lamp series was the fascination with mechanical constructions. Designed by Anton de Groof, Bolt makes use of a system of small ball bearings, perforated plates and springs. The joints can be adjusted, and the light source can be moved, by loosening or tightening the springs with a special wingnut key.
