Tongue tea sets
Bethan Laura Wood | Rosenthal
These tea sets by Bethan Laura Woodare for Rosenthal are inspired by the combination of the lid and handle on Walter Gropius’ TAC teapot and come as a limited edition, with only 50 sets being made. A distinctive slender handle, the rim of which protrudes over the lid, and a spout featuring a sunken relief creates the linear body of the pot. The teapot lid, with its profiled upturned shape, is in dialogue with the handle. The design marries linear architectural forms with the playful frivolity of the 1970s, creating wonderfully captivating pieces.
