Isamu Noguchi Collection

Isamu Noguchi was a Japanese American artist born in Los Angeles in 1904. His career spanned six decades and he worked primarily as a sculptor. He approached his artistic practice with an openness and willingness to experiment, and his work has become influential way beyond the strict confines of the art world. Noguchi's Akari Light Sculptures have been in continuous production since 1951 and are wonderful things; their presence in a room is like having a little sunlight left over from the day.
