Matter Made Collection

Over the last two decades, the American design scene has thrived, particularly around New York City, with a whole new generation of designers and manufacturers emerging. Matter Made is one such brand. Founded in 2008, they are the in-house brand of New York gallery andshowroom Matter, launched by Jamie Gray in 2003. They are producing a type of design object that is composed, beautiful and exceptionally well-made.

Matter Made’s philosophy is to produce pieces that will last a lifetime and are committed to “superb craftsmanship and the highest level of refinement and finish”. Their in-house design team oversees the development and production of all works they make. Their lighting products shown here are a blend of in-house creations and products from influential contemporary designers.
