Tutsi honey jar

Vintage

£295.00

These Tutsi Honey jars are masterfully carved from a single piece of wood and feature metal accents on the sides. These have long been utilised by the Tutsi population of Rwanda as well as other nomadic tribes in rural Burundi, Kenya, and Northern Tanzania. They carried milk, honey, food, and liquids like water.

As this is a vintage piece, it may show signs of wear.
