Vetra is a blown-glass floor lamp which yields a surprise. Much of the light is directed downward, while the rest is filtered toward the inside of the shade, subtly illuminating it. The result is a dimmable standing lamp which brightly illuminates spaces without glare.
In his design, Gaspar uses a completely closed glass diffuser as a reflector, and places the light source outside, rather than inside, the shade. When switched on, Vetra's entire outline is drawn out and seems to come alive.
The Vetra P floor lamp features a stem divided into two unequal parts, a design choice that breaks the symmetry, adds beauty and elegantly provides an outlet for the cable. It is available in a choice of matt finishes.
