1882 Ltd was founded in 2011 by Christopher and Emily Johnson, fourth and fifth generation ceramicists keen to extend the legacy formed by their forefathers, the Johnson Brothers. Focused on producing inventively designed ceramic products, the brand celebrates the manufacturing heritage of North Staffordshire and collaborates with a group of talented designers including Max Lamb, Faye Toogood and Kim Thome.
