DescriptionIn 1950 Knoll invited the sculptor Harry Bertoia to design a collection of chairs. Developed through modelling by hand, Bertoia tried out many variations, with the aim of shaping space by means of a light, airy structure. The Bertoia collection is among the most recognised examples of mid-century modern design.
Suitable for indoor use, the version shown has a seat and backrest in Polished Chrome, with a seat pad upholstered in Volo black leather. It is also available in black and white Rislan for outdoor use, and in a range of upholstery options. Please enquire for more information.
The Knoll logo is stamped into the base of the stool.
