Description
In 1950 Knoll invited the sculptor Harry Bertoia to design a family of chairs. Developed largely through hand-made models, Bertoia tried out many variations, with the goal of shaping space while utilising a light, airy structure. The Bertoia collection was launched in 1952, and is among the most recognised achievements of mid-century modern design.
This contemporary wire chair is suitable for homes, lobbies and offices, and outdoor versions can be used as garden chairs. The chair is also available with a seat pad, please enquire for more information.
