Designed by Greta M. Grossman in the 1950's, the Cobra table lamp takes its name from the snake’s neck which is playfully resembled by its oval shade.
Swedish born Grossman was greatly influenced by European modernism and the Bauhaus movement, developing a design language which would underpin mid-century Californian Modernism.
