Piet Hein Eek
The Crisis collection from Piet Hein Eek is both modular and bold. The plywood construction is CNC routered to obtain its shape and bring attention to the material.
The collection owes its name to the first financial crisis experienced as an established company in 2001-2. It turned out to be an insignificant one, giving Piet licence to buy a computer-operated milling cutter. This was the first collection made on the machine.
Made from lacquered ply. Made in The Netherlands
