Originally designed in 1961 by Danish architect Bodil Kjaer, the Cross-Plex is an exceptional lamp. Moulded from plexiglass and shaped as a cross, the design consists of only the necessary, resulting in a beautifully minimal lamp.
The two pieces of plexiglass slot together like a puzzle, creating a space the exact size needed for the cord to travel up the centre of the design. These transparent details complete the Cross-Plex’s simple yet refined aesthetic, a clear reflection of Bodil Kjaer’s design philosophy.
