The Nychair X rocking chair makes it easy to get up from the chair. Designed by Takeshi Nii in 1958, the Nychair was inspired by the iconic director’s chair. Featuring a fabric seat with wooden armrests, the chair folds away to just five inches wide, whilst being extremely comfortable when unfolded and used. The Nychair has won numerous design awards and it has been a permanent feature at the New York MOMA since 1970.
