Description In 1955, Corsini was assigned to remodel the attics of La Pedrera, one of Barlcelona’s most iconic Gaudí landmarks. What was previously a laundry room and storage area was transformed into 13 modern apartments. To complete the experience, Corsini decorated the dwellings with his own designs, inspired by the characteristic architecture of the building.
When the original Gaudí interior was restored in 1991 and Corsini’s was removed, architect Joaquim Ruiz Millet retrieved the iconic PD2 floor lamp, to save it from being lost. Millet started to create new editions of Corsini’s original designs, bringing his classic design language to a modern audience.
