A slim side table that is inspired by the structural beauty of trestles. Henk is a versatile design that can be used for a number of functions around the home and is ideal for smaller spaces adjacent to armchairs and sofas.
Initially launched to critical acclaim in 2009, the SCP Boxed Collection challenged designers to create smaller-scale pieces that fit within the dimensions of a standard DHL international shipping box (480 x 400 x 390mm). More broadly, the aim was to design objects that could be easily carried out of a store or efficiently shipped via e-commerce.
For 2025, SCP has revisited the Boxed Collection brief, inviting a mix of established designers and emerging talent to explore the concept once again. With no restrictions on material, the brief encourages a diverse range of product typologies, reflecting the evolving landscape of contemporary design.
