This Japanese four-step stool recently won the Red Dot Design Award for its simplicity and practical design. The stool can fold in half when not being used, allowing it to be stored in small spaces and can be fastened with a safety lock. The lightweight aluminium design is perfect for reaching high shelves and cupboards and features a fourth rung for holding onto.
