Piet Hein Eek is revered for his ability to breathe new life into discarded scrapwood and other materials, transforming them into pieces of furniture. The One Size Slat collection breaks new ground with its distinctive uncoated finish and innovative production techniques. In contrast to his better known Waste collection, this latest series is characterised by the use of smaller-scale tools, and one-size scrap wood slabs.

Description
The inspiration behind the One Size Slat collection emerged from consideration of how the manufacturing process could be streamlined. It imagines a workshop with limited space and tools, reminiscent of a small studio. The collection is crafted using prototypes, a generous batch of custom-sized planed planks, and a selection of small hand-tools specifically chosen by Piet Hein Eek. This approach allows for a simple production setup, while maintaining the hallmark quality of his designs.
