Seki-Han suspension

Tobia Scarpa | Flos

£1,417.00

Designed by Tobia Scarpa in 1963 and reissued in 2025, the Seki-Han Suspension Light extends the poetic dialogue between wood and light into an elegant linear form. Featuring two horizontal ash wood blades joined by chromed metal fittings, the blades rotate around a central tubular light source to modulate both direct and indirect illumination.

Drawing on Scarpa’s mastery of woodworking and naval construction techniques, the design leaves a slender sliver of light visible at all times, creating a refined and atmospheric effect. Slightly shorter in body than the floor version, the suspension model maintains the same sculptural presence, where the immateriality of light meets the tactility of wood.
