Series 3300 lounge chair

Arne Jacobsen | Fritz Hansen

The Series 3300 is a classic lounge chair design by Arne Jacobsen. It was created in 1956 for the SAS Air Terminal in Copenhagen, as part of the Danish architect's landmark Royal Hotel design project.

Product Information
Clean lines and elegant proportions make the Series 3300 chair an iconic example of Jacobsen’s timeless design language. The angular form juxtaposes playfully with the organic shapes of the Egg and Swan chairs, which were also first designed for the Royal Hotel.

The armchair pairs a metal frame with upholstered cushions. It is as well suited for use in waiting rooms and public lounges as it is for use in the home.

The frame is made of chromed steel tubes and the cushions are made of cold-cured foam mounted on wood. Upholstered in fabric or leather.
