The Shaker dining chair draws reference to the modest, humble and utiliarian approach of the movement with which it shares its name.
Formed from an honestly structured, solid wood frame, the chair leans backward slightly as it rests on angled supports. Ensuring no aesthetic flourish is without function, the ladder back allows the chair to be hung on a wall, as the Shakers would have done.
