Tableau is inspired by photographs taken by AB Concept founder Ed Ng of the seasonal landscapes around his home in Karuizawa, Japan. The design captures the soft, dreamlike light of the Japanese Alps, shifting between distant and immersive perspectives through abstract, painterly techniques.
Fine linear strokes suggest coniferous forests, while each colourway reflects a specific time of day and micro-season. Subtle reflective details evoke the way mountains change with clouds, mist, snow, and light, creating a serene and ever-evolving panoramic scene.
