Theia P floor light

Mathias Hahn | Marset

Transitioning from light to shadow with a single gesture, the Theia table floor's two faces are reminiscent of the sun and the moon. It emits diffused light that immediately warms the atmosphere.

Product Information
Description
Designed by Mathias Hahn for Marset, Theia takes its name from Greek goddess of the sun, the moon and the dawn. The light is composed of two half-spheres, one placed horizontally and the other vertically, which intersect with each other. The design is elementary and streamlined. The movable shade swivels around the central axis, allowing to be pointed towards you for use as a reading lamp, or away to bathe the room in a subtle, indirect light.

Materials
Base and stem in lacquered iron. Dissipater in lacquered aluminium with built-in switch. Vertical semi-sphere made of lacquered spun metal, with the interior in white, and a transparent smoked shade in thermoformed methacrylate. Black electrical cord.
