A modular sofa system that also comes as a standard three-seat sofa, developed from the idea of creating a fully enclosed conversation pit, or a pool. The Element sofa was awarded the Design Guild Mark in 2024.

Made at SCP’s specialist upholstery factory in Norfolk, England, using 100% natural and sustainable materials.

Description
With a well-rounded aesthetic, this design grew from a focus on one particular element: the corners. By creating symmetrical matching corner units, which can act as ends as well as sides, and the addition of a central ottoman module, allows for the creation of a fully enclosed internal seating space; ideal for ultimate comfort, conversation and conviviality.

Materials
Made at SCP’s specialist upholstery factory in Norfolk, England, using 100% natural and sustainable materials. With a frame made from FSC beech and softwood ply. Upholstered with wool interliner, burlap, recycled wool felt, jute webbing, latex and coconut fibres, needled wool and multi-density wool.
